Our Purpose
open / close

When you attend Antioch International Church, you will find that we are building a relevant, effective, and influential church. Our purpose is to touch God's heart and reach the lost in our local community, thoughout this great nation, and across the world.

From every ministry that flows out of this church we aim to:

Reach and Love the Lost through effective prayer and strategic outreach.

Train and Release the Saints with powerful Bible teaching and practical support.

Encourage & Grow a Church where every person is valued, encouraged, and loved.

Go to & Disciple the Nations using every means possible.

Antioch International Church is not structured in the style of a pyramid with one leader or the leadership team at the top and everyone else supporting that ministry. Instead, the pastoral team and church leaders at Antioch provide a strong and effective base to support each person and family as they grow into all that God has called them to.

With this pattern, each member of Antioch International Church can be secure to dream God’s dream for their lives again, knowing that they can do whatever God has planned with encouragement from those around them.

We believe that church ministry is not a "one-man show". Rather, it is a team sport where everyone has an opportunity to play and take part. At Antioch, we are committed to building a family where people can develop and enjoy long-lasting relationships, encouraging each other to pursue our Lord Jesus Christ more and more passionately.

Our Vision
open / close

The vision for Antioch International Church is encapsulated in the following statements:

  • The Church we see is God focused, people empowering, and world influencing.

  • The Church we see equips, empowers, and releases ordinary people to live astonishing lives and fulfill their God given dreams and visions.

  • The Church we see is thrilling and full of life, entirely dependent on the Holy Spirit. It is a church that is both numerically big and spiritually deep, impacting locally and internationally.

  • The Church we see is filled with individuals from all races, cultures, and generations responding to Christ’s gift of salvation.

  • The Church we see is non-religious and incredibly fun to be in. A place where people can feel good about who they are and whose they are.

  • The Church we see is a compassionate, loving, caring family amongst whom the lonely and the broken find refuge, support, hope, and belonging.

What We Believe
open / close

1. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, divinely inspired in its original form. It is the final authority for determining Christian doctrine. It provides Godly guidelines for the conduct and behavior of all individuals, families, communities, and nations.

2. We believe in one omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient God revealed to man in three distinct persons, namely the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He came to Earth in the flesh, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died to pay for the sins of humanity, rose to life eternal, and will, one day, return to earth to be with His people. Eternal salvation comes only through His name.

4. We believe that all people are made in the image of God. All human life is sacred, and the innocent should be defended.

5. We believe that the Christian life should result in one becoming a disciple of Christ. A believer should follow the morals and conduct of the New Testament scriptures. A Christian's character should reflect the fruit of the Holy Spirit, namely: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control.

6. We believe in the unity of believers, and that we should live in harmony with all men where possible, especially with Christians - those in the household of faith.

7. We believe in caring for widows, orphans, and the poor with compassion and practical aid.

8. We believe in the ordinances of the New Testament and the sacraments of the Christian Church including: believer's baptism, celebration of the Lord's supper, study of the apostle's doctrine, prayer, worship, fellowship with God's people, miraculous signs and wonders, and we hold marriage as holy unto the Lord.

9. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead. Those who receive God's grace will live with Him eternally, but the wicked will suffer in hell.

10. We believe that God judges people in this life as well as in eternity. A person is saved only by God's grace and not by works, but his behavior in this life will determine his eternal rewards.

Although this is not intended to be an exhaustive statement of all that we believe, it does aim to express our belief in the elementary truths that have provided the foundation for the true Christian faith from its origin through to this present day.
